This page explains what personal data this website collects, why, and what your rights are. It's written in plain English rather than legal boilerplate, in keeping with the rest of the site.
Who this is
Zachary Martin, trading as ZMPT, contactable at zachary.martin@zmpt-health.com, is the data controller for information collected through this website.
What we collect, and why
Free guide and newsletter sign-ups
If you request the free Blood Sugar Guide (via the homepage, the pop-up, or the guide landing page), we collect your email address in order to send it to you. If you also tick the newsletter box, we additionally collect your consent to send the weekly Tuesday note, along with the date, time, and page you signed up from — so we can show what was agreed to and when, if ever asked. This is handled through MailerLite, our email service provider; MailerLite processes this data on our behalf under a data processing agreement.
Coaching and corporate enquiries
If you submit the 1-2-1 coaching or corporate enquiry forms on the coaching page, we collect your name, email address, and whatever message you include, in order to reply to your enquiry. These submissions are handled through Netlify Forms and delivered to us by email.
Book purchases
If you buy the book directly through the "Buy direct" button, your order is processed by Shopify, and any payment details are handled entirely by Shopify and its payment providers — we do not see or store your card details. If you buy via Amazon, Amazon's own privacy policy applies to that transaction.
Booking a consultation
If you book a free consultation through the calendar on the coaching page, that booking is handled by Cal.com, which collects your name, email, and chosen time slot to schedule and confirm the call.
What we don't do
This site does not use cookies for tracking or analytics, and does not run any analytics scripts. No cookie banner is shown because none is needed for how the site currently operates. If that ever changes, this page will be updated first.
How long we keep it
We keep your details for as long as you remain subscribed or as long as is reasonably needed to deal with your enquiry, and no longer than necessary after that. You can ask us to delete your data at any time (see "Your rights" below).
Who we share it with
We don't sell or rent your data. It's shared only with the service providers named above (MailerLite, Netlify, Shopify, Cal.com) strictly to provide the service you asked for, and, where relevant, with Amazon when you choose to buy through them directly.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to ask what data we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to object to how it's used, and to withdraw consent at any time (for the newsletter, every email includes a one-click unsubscribe). To exercise any of these, email zachary.martin@zmpt-health.com. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
